- XL: 56–69 cm / 22.0–27.2 in chest
For dachshunds:
- Mini dachshunds will most often fit S, if their chest is within 37–47 cm / 14.6–18.5 in.
- Standard, slimmer dachshunds will often fit M, if their chest is within 41–51 cm / 16.1–20.1 in.
- Broader-chested or more robust standard dachshunds may need L, if their chest is within 48–64 cm / 18.9–25.2 in.
- XL is generally best reserved for especially large or broad-chested dogs.
